Dr. Marcia Penwell
Originally from Fortune NL, Marcia returned to the Burin Peninsula in 2008, after working in St. John’s for 5 years. Following her dream to pursue dentistry as a career Marcia first earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999. She was then accepted into the Dalhousie University Facility of Dentistry in 1999 and graduated in 2003. Marcia currently resides in Fortune with her husband Frazer and their two daughters Charlize and Peyton. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, volunteering with CIDF in Haiti, and volunteering within the local community with the Feller from Fortune Int. festival committee.

Dr. Noel Farrell
Dr. Farrell is a proud Newfoundlander raised in the town of St. Lawrence and is a two time graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 and while attending dental school was honored by his peers by being elected class president and Vice President of the Dalhousie Dental Student Society.
After committing time working in Vancouver, Halifax, and Labrador Dr. Farrell jumped at the opportunity to join the Burin Dental Clinic in 2010 allowing him to offer his services to the good people of his hometown area. Established from his beginnings in Dental Hygiene, Dr. Farrell has a strong belief in conservative and preventative dentistry working closely with patients to create a lifetime dental health plan promoting optimal oral health.
He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association as well as the Newfoundland Dental Association and enjoys continuing education courses and programs exploring the many aspects of dentistry as both a clinical and a didactic science. Outside of his professional activities Dr. Farrell is a lover of music and traveling, combining both whenever possible.

Dr. Cassandra Rideout
Cassandra is originally from Grand Bank, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Biology) at Memorial University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University in 2011. Her main dental practice is in St. John's where she lives with her husband and two dogs. She returns to the Burin Peninsula a week a month to help out at the clinic and see her family. During her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and drink tea!
