Originally from Fortune NL, Marica returned to the Burin Peninsula in 2008, after working in St. John’s for 5 years. Following her dream to pursue dentistry as a career Marcia first earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999. She was then accepted into the Dalhousie University Facility of Dentistry in 1999 and graduated in 2003. Marcia currently resides in Fortune with her husband Frazer and their two daughters Charlize and Peyton. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, volunteering with CIDF in Haiti, and volunteering within the local community with the Feller from Fortune Int. festival committee.
