Dr. Farrell is a proud Newfoundlander raised in the town of St. Lawrence and is a two time graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 and while attending dental school was honored by his peers by being elected class president and Vice President of the Dalhousie Dental Student Society. After committing time working in Vancouver, Halifax, and Labrador Dr. Farrell jumped at the opportunity to join the Burin Dental Clinic in 2010 allowing him to offer his services to the good people of his hometown area.
Established from his beginings in Dental Hygiene, Dr. Farrell has a strong belief in conservative and preventative dentistry working closely with patients to create a lifetime dental health plan promoting optimal oral health. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association as well as the Newfoundland Dental Association and enjoys continuing education courses and programs exploring the many aspects of dentistry as both a clinical and a didactic science. Outside of his professional activities Dr. Farrell is a lover of music and traveling, combining both whenever possible.
